Chapter 10 was an intersting chapter which was yet the most detailed chapter of them all and the one that had the most impact on me than the others . It it seems that it was the most inmpotant part of the book, also the turning point in his life. At this point he understands that the belief of not being a slave for life is something that he dosent want to experience for life or until his death. His turning against his master Covey symbolizes a shift of being a slave owner to actually being a slave, which casued him to stand up for himself in the battle between he and his master. It talked about when he was in his teenage years adn him feeling that there was a nedd and its time for a change. He tried to escape, but was caught in the process and it failed. He stated that he refused to spend another 6 months living the way that he was, and that all cahnge and everything became different. The more I read, I realize that Douglass is someone that has a mind set to do something or if he dosent want to do something, he strives for change and dosent stop until his goal is accomplished.

WHAT I'VE LEARNED...........

was that everyone has looked at this story in so many diferent ways. Everyone's blog that I read was very interesting, there were also so very unique ones also. No matter how a person has seen or read something its there own opoinion and everyone is entitled to that if they arent entitled to anything else, because in the end everyone is a winner, has achieved something, and has gained/lost something also.

SONNY'S NEW AND IMPROVED ENDING

After Sonny finished his number he was applauded by the audience. Sonny couldn't believe it because he thought that by him not picking up an instrument in so long he thought that he had lost his touch but he was proven wrong. After the club he headed home along with his brother and there awaiting him was his high school sweetheart. He was so overwhelmed with excitement. They spoke on how it was so glad to see each other and how she heard about what happened and she never stopped thimking about him and how she came back for him. The next morning Sonny was awakened by a phone call from the manager of the club offering him a full time job at the club with good pay and benefits. Sonny became an even better musician, he was a full time musician at the club in which he drew in large crowds every night making good money. Along with this dream he longed for, he had the love of his life by his side long with his brother. Sonny and his brother never went a day without speaking atleast two to three times a day.

I am posting this blog on the story "Sonny's Blues". I have not completely finished reading the story but since I have been reading it I have been so interested in the story and wondering is this story fact or fiction and if this story is fact my heart goes out to the people in this story. This story also makes me wonder why do people let small conflicts in thier lives cause major and drastic changes to thier lives which hurt them. I can't wait to finish the story because its so interesting and it kind of depicts the things that go on in everyday life today.
